O2O Reflections on NCEO Tampa (2024)











Host Jesse Tyler is joined by three colleagues at 100% employee owned Hypertherm Associates, Melody Johnson (Senior Recruiter), Alison Eko (Human Resources Director), and Gabrielle Lucke (Organizational Effectiveness Program Manager), reflecting on their experiences at the National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO) Annual Conference in Tampa, Florida, which was held from April 29 - May 1, 2024.


This was the first employee ownership conference for each of the guests.  They share insights into leadership, organizational effectiveness, diversity, equity, inclusion, and the importance of employee ownership culture. The episode emphasizes the transformative power of the conference, the significance of a collaborative culture, financial literacy, personal and professional growth, and the unique perspectives and takeaways each participant brings back to their roles within Hypertherm Associates. The discussion also underscores the commitment to continuous improvement and the fostering of an ownership mindset at all levels of the organization. Finally, each guest shares they're EO A-ha Moment.
