O2O Ep. 44 AVID's Employee Owners

Host Jesse Tyler is joined by three great employee owners at 100% ESOP AVID Products, Inc., Jacki Almeida, Logistics Coordinator, Aaron Moberger, Project Manager, and Kara Turgeon, Sales Account Executive. AVID provides "Audio Solutions With Purpose" in the education, healthcare, hospitality, and travel industries.

Each guest shares personal insights on what ownership means to them; how they describe ownership when talking to family, friends, and strangers; the three words they use to describe ownership; their EO A-ha moments; and why anyone seeking work should consider a career at AVID.

Jacki Almeida is AVID’s Logistics Coordinator and serves as AVID's ESOP Communications Committee Chairperson. She was recently awarded Employee Owner of the Year at the ESOP Association NE Spring ESOP Conference.

Aaron Moberger is Project Manager at AVID and also serves as president of the NE Chapter of the ESOP Association. In 2019, Aaron appeared on Episode 94 "Craft Beer & Employee Ownership with Aaron Moberger of Harpoon Brewery" of the ESOP Podcast while at his previous employer. Listen here.

Kara Turgeon is a standout Sales Account Executive at AVID, as well as a member of AVID's ESOP Communications Committee.

The goal of this podcast is to have owner-to-owner discussions about a wide range of ownership experiences and culture topics, and to bring more insight into the individual ownership experience.
