Ep.oo8: King Arthur and Cirtronics Pt. 2

Host Jesse Tyler is joined by John Durgin of King Arthur Baking Company and Gary Boutilier of Cirtronics who discuss what being an employee owner means to them, how they describe the ownership experience to family and friends, as well as complete strangers.

The goal of this series is to have owner to owner discussions about a range of ownership, experience and culture topics, and bring more insight into the individual ownership experience.

" We purposefully extend our definition of “team” to include each of the “Six We Serve”: Customers, Community, Suppliers, Environment, Employee Owner, and the Corporation. Our team includes You. We’re deliberately inclusive. We value each team member and welcome their unique contributions. We treat each other with respect, kindness and honesty. This is the foundation of our business."

"We're an employee-owned company, every one of us bakers at heart. And for generations, we’ve been there with you as you bake. Our mission is to be the ultimate resource and inspiration in the kitchen, to inspire connections and community through baking, and to use our business as a force for good."
